21 JULY 2001

THE EARLY DAYS

Aikido Ki no Kenkyukai in Singapore was formalized in the latter half of 1980’s with a logo coloured at its core to signify Japan as the country of origin of our curriculum.  This coloured logo became the badge worn on the right sleeve by all our members.

During the same period, a poster with the same colour was designed. This is now displayed at the home page of our website.

Our endearvour is to share the Ki and Ki-Aikido programmes formulated by Master Koichi Tohei, founder of Ki no Kenkyukai HQ, Japan. This includes his breathing exercise.

FOREWORD

To our students for their patience and dedication:

There are so many people who needs guidance.
But there is only that limited number of us, to guide those who come our way.
With this limitation, we must do our best.
To show the Way to them.

– Francis H S Chong, Chief Instructor, Ki-Aikido Singapore
